Primus Canada Significantly Expands VoIP Service Area

Affordable, reliable and flexible VoIP communications services for businesses and consumers now available in an additional 240 exchanges

Toronto - Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc., ("Primus Canada") a wholly owned subsidiary of PTGi (Primus Telecommunications Group, Incorporated) (NYSE: PTGI), today announced its VoIP services are now available in an additional 240 exchanges across Canada, specifically in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. The move makes it simple for more Canadian businesses and consumers to access communications services that deliver reliable and flexible connections with premium features at an affordable price.

The expansion is part of the company's continued investment to bring Canadians greater access and choice. As the Canadian population grows and metropolitan areas expand, consumers and businesses in these growing areas are looking for advanced technology, lower costs, and access to the same services as the major urban hubs. This expansion is designed to meet these needs.
